DeSantis indicates privately he intends to run in 2024 as allies prepare

Ron DeSantis (R) has indicated privately that he intends to run for president, according to two people familiar with his comments. Allies do not expect him to announce a run until after the Florida state legislative session ends in May. One, called Ready for Ron, has been collecting signatures from people favoring a DeSantis campaign.
