The first classified documents were found on Nov. 2 and a second batch on Dec. 20. After leaving office, a former president or vice president can get access to presidential records from the administration, including classified documents. On that last day, Mr. Biden attended Mr. Trump’s inauguration, then headed to Union Station for a train trip back to Delaware.
