Temperatures in many cities could approach all-time highsDuring the second week of July, temperatures will challenge all-time record high levels for many locations over the interior Southwest. Las Vegas has hit its all-time record high of 117 five times over the years, with the most recent occurrence being on July 10, 2021. Utah's capital city hit 101 on July 3, which was its high mark for the year so far. The all-time record high for Salt Lake City of 107 was set on July 17, 2022.
