On Sept. 18, the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) celebrated the 128th anniversary of the founding of chiropractic as a profession. Since then, chiropractic has been established as a separate and distinct health care profession with its own science, philosophy and art. This year’s Founders Day celebration is particularly special for the ICA as it also launched a public media campaign to share the message of chiropractic. The ICA greatly appreciates those who contributed to the Viewpoint segment, including:Dr. Selina Sigafoose Jackson, ICA PresidentDr. Kevin Jackson, ICA MemberDr. Charmaine Herman, ICA Board of Directors and Life University facultyDr. Kristen Welsh, US Air Force Veteran and ICA MemberDr. We believe every individual should have the freedom to select chiropractic care and have credentialed chiropractors who understand how to detect and correct vertebral subluxations with the chiropractic adjustment.
