Ford created undue stress upon the crew of USS George Washington. Of the 42 deaths, nine were George Washington sailors. George Washington sailors had not run a crisis response drill since June 2020, despite a Navy requirement for annual drills. While Huntington Hall and George Washington may have been habitable, they were not suitable for the junior sailors, according to the report.
