Labour on Track for 1997-Style Landslide Over Tories: Poll Says

The poll shows voters favor Keir Starmer’s Labour Party on most issues, from the cost of living, housing and the National Health Service to traditional Tory priority areas like crime, defense and Brexit. When asked about their satisfaction with party leaders, respondents put Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at net approval of -20, compared to +3 for Starmer. The survey was consistent with expectations for the Conservatives to face a wipe-out at the next general election, to be held no later than January 2025.
