NFL Peacock experiment leads to least-viewed game of Wild Card weekend

January 18, 2024

While the Chiefs-Dolphins matchup attracted an audience of approximately 23 million users, that pales in comparison to what the other Wild Card Weekend games drew in. The Cleveland Browns game against the Houston Texans earlier Saturday garnered approximately 29 million viewers on NBC. Finally, the Pittsburgh Steelers rescheduled game against the Buffalo Bills on CBS was seen by 31 million viewers. Furthermore, the game peaked at 24.6 million viewers in the second quarter, showing how close it was to being among the most-viewed broadcasts of the weekend. Overall, Peacock's coverage reached a total of 27.6 million viewers.
