PRO-Palestine protesters have marched through the streets of London demanding an Israeli ceasefire in Gaza. A large crowd gathered in Victoria Embankment Gardens by the Thames with signs reading "Gaza, Stop The Massacre" and "Free Palestine, End Israeli Occupation". Thousands of people in Gaza including more than 3,500 children have been killed by Israeli airstrikes since October 7. A spokesperson for the force stated: "Officers policing the protest arrested a man in Waterloo Road just after 1.30pm. It is understood there are now around 100,000 people on the streets demanding ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war.
