Thousands participate in Israeli 'Day of Paralysis'

University students protested outside of Tel Aviv University before setting out on a march toward King George Street. The Time is Running Out organization set up a giant hourglass in Tel Aviv. In total, at least 60 protestors were arrested throughout the day, most of them during the protests on Ayalon Highway in Tel Aviv. Israel Police announced that a number of streets throughout Bnei Brak will be closed because of the protests, starting from 6 p.m. Hundreds of protestors gathered in the Ramat Gan stadium parking lot in preparation for the march to Bnei Brak.
