Conservatives are criticizing the liberal Supreme Court justices over ethics issues following the series of reports of the ties between Justice Clarence Thomas and a major Republican donor. She received $1.2 million in 2010 in advance from Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group, which is part of Penguin Random House.
