Review: Ben Affleck, Matt Damon Reunite On “Air,” Their First Film Since 1997, and It’s a Big Old Fashioned Hit

Amazon realized they’ve got an old fashioned hit, the kind of film audiences will adore, and changed the release plan. We kind of forget that Ben Affleck is a good director. Of course we all know what happened in 1984: Nike rebranded with Air Jordans and the rest was history. If this doesn’t get Matt Damon an Oscar for acting (he and Ben have them for writing “Good Will Hunting”) I don’t know what will. Yes, that’s me toward the end asking Matt Damon about gaining and losing weight for the role.
